A haul post: Paul and Joe, Shu Uemura, Chanel, Yves Saint Laurent

Hello everyone! I've been to London for vacation last week. It was quite a relaxing one week trip, since me and the bf did not hurry from one sightseeing place to another, but rather strolled around in the city.

The weather was not too bad at all also, so all in all I enjoyed London a lot. It's a really cool place and a even better place for shopping, haha... I hope, I'll have the opportunity to visit London again some time!

Of course, I did shop some things in London, hehe... Here is my Paul & Joe Haul from Fenwicks!

PAUL & JOE Pressed Powder N ~ 05 Glow

Ohh... I so love the compact! Sooo pretty!

The powder is really fine and has a bit of a shimmer to it, which gives your skin a really nice natural glowy finish. If you don't want to use it allover your face, you can also just apply it as a highlighter above your cheekbones and on your forehead.

I chose shade 05, because it's a neutral beige color that slightly tones down the redness on my cheeks.

PAUL & JOE Lipstick N ~ 29 Mademoiselle

This is a really cute peachy rose color on the lips. I think the texture and finish of the Paul & Joe lipsticks are quite similar to the Dior Addict High Shine. Medium pigmentation, lightweight and very glossy.

Swatch on the back of my hand in natural light without flash. It turns pretty much like this on my lips. Love this color a lot! So cute and wearable!

PAUL & JOE Nail Enamel ~ 20 Manhattan

This is a beautiful shimmery dark bronze taupe brown color. The SA told me this nail polish is given the name 'Manhattan', since it reminds of Manhattan at night with its' gorgeous lights. So true, isn't it?

The shimmer is so awesome! A perfect nail color for autumn I think!

PAUL & JOE Portable Face Color Brush

I got this for touch-ups during the day. I think the champagne-gold packaging attracted me, haha...

The bristles are super soft!

PAUL & JOE Treatment Oil

I've been wanting to try out this oil for quite a long time now. It has a pleasant fresh orange scent to it.

I've used this twice now, and I'm truly impressed. After massaging my face with this oil, my skin feels baby soft, and looks amazingly smooth, plump and glowy. I also noticed that my pores look less visible the next days.

PAUL & JOE Moisturizing Facial Mask

This mask has a light gel-like consistency. There is a light cooling effect when you applied it onto your face, which I enjoy a lot. I love its' moisturizing and soothing properties.

The only downside of this product is the packaging. The tin packaging looks pretty, but is not really convenient. It comes with a plastic spatula, but still I think it would be much more hygienic, if it came in a squeeze tube. Nevertheless, I will definitely repurchase once I used it up, because I like it a lot.

More goodies from other brands that I accumulated! :)

LANCOME Ageless Minérale Perfecting and Setting Powder ~ Translucent

I also got the Ageless Minérale Skin-Transforming Mineral Powder Foundation SPF 21 (which was raved by Fuz and Nic Nic) in Natural Ivory 30, which was the lightest shade that Selfridges carried. But I think the shade is not perfect for my skintone, so I gave it to my sister again, haha... Since she is a bit darker than me, the shade was a good match for her.

This translucent setting powder indeed gives me a nice translucent somewhat glowy finish.

CHANEL Le Vernis ~ 491 Rose Confidentiel

Rose Confidentiel is a medium antique rose color. Not old-lady-like at all (yes, I admit that I tend to think of elder ladies, when I think of rose and coral nail polish, haha...)! I'm actually totally in love with Rose Confidentiel. One of the prettiest nail polishes of Chanel in my opinion, and a great color for autumn too!

SHU UEMURA Natural Brush 27

A full and fluffy brush for the sheerest powder application.

The goat bristles are so soft!

SHU UEMURA Hard Formula Eyebrow Pencil ~ 9

This is the best eyebrow pencil I ever had so far in terms of creating ultra natural looking eyebrows!

YVES SAINT LAURENT Rouge Volupté Perle ~ 102 Coral Sun

Being a great fan of the Rouge Volupté, I could not resist to get one of the Rouge Volupté Perle of course! The Rouge Volupté is equally creamy and lightweight, yet sheerer in terms of opaqueness, and it has a pearlish shimmer to it.

102 Coral Sun is a bright peach color with golden shimmer to it.

The camera was not able to capture the gorgeous pearly shimmer. Doh!

And that's about it! I hope you enjoyed my haul! More swatches and in-depth reviews to come (I know I say this every time, argh!). ;)

At last, a picture of my first ever blogger meet-up with four lovely fellow bloggers from London!

From left to right: Jamilla, me, Yinnie, Kay, Eve's friend, Eve. I had a great time with all of you, ladies! Hope to meet you again some time!

You can see more of my London trip photos on facebook!

I love the same brands as you do~~ all the Japanese brands and Christian Dior! Great haul! I really like YSL Rouge Volupté too. The color payoff is excellent. It is too bad Singapore doesn't sell YSL anymore... A bit random, but I love your page layout and all the graphics. You take great pictures. Anyway I am a new follower =)

What a lovely haul of P&J products!!! The nail polish really is pretty..and so tempting.I think I'll refrain for now though since I think I blew this month's nail polish quota in one go D=

Saw some of your UK photos on Fb! Looks like you had a fab and fun time! It's a pity I didn't come along to the London meet..but I've been so busy travelling backwards and forwards from the city I'm studying in to the hospital I'm currently based at which is in another town 1.30 hr drive away! It's really tiring..
