FOTD : Coffret D'Or Color Mixing Eyes 02 Green-Blue Mix

First of all, an announcement! The lovely Sheila of Mademoiselle Loves Beauty moved her blog! Visit her 'new' blog at Maddy Loves! She is also holding a giveaway on her facebook page, which you shouldn't miss! Go here to join!

Color for my eyes today! Using the Coffret D'or Color Mixing Eyes ~ 02 Blue-Green Mix I got from Mihokoshop last week. This palette is so pretty for summer!

- white shade allover the lids as a base color (blend it up to the brow bones to add a highlighting effect!)

- green shade allover the lids following the shape of the eyes, starting from the inner corner and blend it outwards

- apply the aqua blue shad on the outer part of the eyes and blend it into the green

- deep purple blue along the upper and lower lashline
- concentrate on the outer corners to add depth to the eyes and blend blend blend...

- tightline the upper lashline and line the upper lid
- curl the lashes and apply mascara

This is actually a foolproof way of eyeshadow application for monolid eyes! Best thing, it's really easy to do!

The finished look! I felt a bit like a budgie, haha...

I know, I really shouldn't nag that much about myself, but I really hate my deep marionette lines! Gotta massage massage massage...

I think, my skin looks more glowy today, don't you think so? I did a facial massage yesterday night, which seems to have made my skin quite plump and well moisturized.

Again, the colors looked ways more vibrant than it appears in the photos. Gotta replace my stupid camera, and get my hands on a DSLR! That also means, I gotta cut down my spendings on cosmetics, and save up for that instead! Ohh ohh... :p

I'm again wearing the Shiseido Sheer Matifying Compact foundation. Applied it with a dry sponge today. I feel, the finish is more matte when applied with a damp sponge, whereas slightly more radiant and glowy when applied with a dry sponge. Of course, I prefer the less matte finish!

You think, this is a wearable daytime look? I actually went out with this makeup, and felt like I was the only person with colorful eye makeup, haha...

Pink lips with Dior Addict High Shine ~ 352 Champagne Blush and Dior Addict Ultra-Gloss Reflect ~ 517 Clutch Pink on top. I must admit, I have been neglecting them...

Yay for smiling, nay for squinting, haha... :]

You probably can't see due to my heavy hooded lids that overlap my eyelashes (sigh...!), but the Estee Lauder Sumptous Waterproof Bold Volume Lifting Mascara does an amazing job at both volumizing and lengthening!!! It holds the curl of my lashes really well too! Detailed review to come!

- Dior Diorskin Sculpt Lifting Smoothing Concealer ~ 001 Ivoire / Ivory
- Shiseido Sheer Matifying Compact ~ I00 Very Light Ivory

- SUQQU Blend Cheeks ~ 05 Kasanebeni

- Dior Addict High Shine ~ 352 Champagne Blush
- Dior Ultra-Gloss Reflect ~ 517 Clutch Pink

- Coffret D'Or Color Mixing Eyes ~ 02 Blue-Green Mix
- MAC Fluidline ~ Blitz & Glitz (using Bobbi Brown Ultra Fine Eye Liner Brush)
- Estee Lauder Sumptuous Bold Volume Lifting Mascara

There are another two products that I have been hiding from you for quite a time now. The Payot Pate Grise and Spéciale 5, which are designed for treating imperfections.

These two products are really effective, but at the same time very gentle, unlike other products that are ways too harsh and thus easily irritating sensitive skin. I've tried the highly raved Mario Badescu Buffering Lotion and Drying Lotion some time ago, but both were ways too harsh for my skin, thus I ended up with a light rash.

I'll come up with more details about the Payot Pate Grise and Spéciale 5 soon, if you are interested! ;)

Ohh... pretty! has a facebook page now too! Everyone is welcome to join!

Your makeup is so pretty as always. I think that you're so lucky that you can also wear paler eyeshadow shades. On me, it just washes out and looks like I have nothing on. Not a good look for me.

Anyway, beautiful job! I love colors in the Coffret D'or palette.

Hmmm yeah, tough decision...saving for a DSLR and cutting down on cosmetic expenditures. Good luck!

The mascara looks great on you. You have really pretty monolids because they are wide set and big :D The eye makeup is flawless as usual. I love your taste in eye shadows! The lustrous combination of colors you used is gorgeous! Green really looks amazing on you.

Your skin glowing? It's always glowing!! :D You have such nice skin! You must do a tutorial of what you use in the AM and PM :) Would love to read it and get recommendations since my skincare needs amping up :)

Aww, thank youuu!

You could try to combine a bright shadow and use a darker shade to add depth. Maybe this will work for you! ;)

Practice makes perfect! :)

I've never tried coffret d'or. It looks good on you and is definitely a wearable daytime look. I know what you mean about feeling like the only person wearing (colourful) make-up!

Beautiful FOTD, makes me think of lovely mermaids. Your skin looks amazing!

Yup, I did buy some makeup in Japan, but not many as I can find them in Malaysia for alot cheaper! Did most of my makeup shopping in KL instead.

Hope you get to travel to asia soon!

You're right, I do think your skin looks glowy, and I love the Dior lippie you're wearing in this post. I never would have pegged High Shine would be so pigmented but it looks so nice and pigmented in your pics!
