I want to grow out my hair, but I thought it was time to have them slightly trimmed, since the tips of my hair have already been so dry and brittle. I told the hairdresser not to cut off too much nor to thin out too much, so here is what I ended up with!
Not much difference actually, hehe... I still urgently need a really nourishing hair mask to treat the tips!
I was wearing very little makeup that day, since I was in a hurry for leaving the house. I'm wearing the RMK Powder Foundation EX ~ 101.
How do you like the bangs? Well, on the whole I think the hairdresser did an okay job... I don't bother too much if it doesn't look perfect now, since my aim is to grow them out fast anyways, haha... Once they have grown out long enough, I want lots of layers, so that it doesn't look as heavy as now. (^- ^)
Someone wanted to see me wearing the Lunasol Full Glamour Lips G ~ 01 Shiny Coral in a look, so here I'm wearing it! I super love this color, because it goes with nearly any look. So natural for daytime!
I applied Jill Stuart Jelly Eye Color N ~ 02 gold light allover my lids, lined my eyes very lightly with Lunasol Contrasting W Eyeliner ~ 04 Deep Black and added the greyish purple color from Lunasol Booming Eyes ~ 03 Purple Gradation on top of the liner and on the outer corner. Finished the eyes with mascara.
A close-up of my lips wearing Lunasol Full Glamour Lips G ~ 01 Shiny Coral.
I'm awaiting a new eyelash curler from Koji which I ordered from BoboDave some time ago, and a pair of earrings from DSK Jewelry. Ahh... can't wait to receive the packages, hehe...
Stay pretty!
Stay Ohh... pretty!

i'm excited to hear about the koji curler...i've been wondering what number to get! hahaha.
dsk earrings! very nice. love the lip color<3 sssooo pretty
Loveeeeeeee your new haircut! It looks really sophisticated and clean! I like <3
I don't know much about hair treatments and masks because all the ones I've used in the past always work the same. At the moment I am using Aussie's '3min Miracle Frizz Remedy Deep Treatment' (long name lol) and it's working pretty good! Makesmy hair sooooooooooo soft and has a nice smell to it too :D You could try that and see how it works :D Also if you want a good serum then I would recommend you the John Frieda one, works amazingly :D
Hehe sorry about the rambling there, I just wanted to share a few of my faves :) Can't wait for yout next post! <3
xxx
Lovely haircut, Jess! :) I'm growing out my hair too so I know what you're talking about. The lippie looks soo nice on you!
love the neutral look... not too much and not too little with still a difference... I heard that if you wanna grow ur hair out it helps to trim ur hair often so the ends are healthy and it can breathe which helps the hair grow faster (or something like that...) Maybe I'm wrong~~~~ hahahahaa
I love the haircut!!! The cut is very soft and simple, looks so flattering on you. Don't worry about the bangs, trust me they will even out in a week. I recently bought a treatment oil by Ichikami (japanese one) but a similar one would be the Aveda Smoothing Serum. I'm not sure if Aveda is available in your area but I'm sure Austria must have some brand that makes hair smoothing serums..
Thanks everyone for your recommendations! I'm currently using the Body Shop Grape Seed Serum which is quite good, but I have to look for a very nourishing hair treatment. :)
I don't do my hair very often, but I just leave in my conditioner for a really long time whenever I'm in the shower if I feel like it needs a boost :) You look really youthful with it though ^_^
It does look kind of the same, but you look so much more polished after the trim!
And I love the bangs! I want sideswept bangs like that...mine's too long now, and doesn't cover my forehead anymore...
You lips always look so nice! Like a barbie doll's lips!
I love the hair, Jess. I could go for a trim myself. I wish I could find a decent stylist in this little town...
the layers came out really good! quite soft to look at :)
Looooove that lippie on you! So pretty!!
snip snip snip!!
like the hair alot soooooo elegant.
i like ur haircut!
maybe I should trim my hair now too =)
Your colour and cut are fabulous!!
I usually have a deep conditioning treatment at the salon when I get my colour done...
The L'Oreal deep conditiong masks are really good.
Your hair looks so soft, Jess!
I used to have the same haircut but my hair is so thin, it didn't look as good as yours! hehe :)
What a beautiful hair cut! I love it! You look sooo pretty with the natural look!
Love the hair, it's beautiful!
i also had my hair trimmed! i should post pictures of it but it totally helps with hair growth. it doesnt speed up the process but it does end up looking longer faster hehehe wierd eh? but its because of the health of the hair the strength ya know? hehe sorry i get so passionate about hair! hehehhe
Ahh! I really like the layers~ So pretty~
I'm also trying to grow my hair out! =_= It's taking aaages...
You look very nice ;)
I'm soo in need of a hair cut, haven't been since June, not good! Your hair looks so nice and tidy here, and honestly the bangs suit you a lot! Pretty eyes and pretty pretty pretty lips! I thought you were really happy with the Shiseido eyelash curler...?? xx
Anna: Yes, I'm happy with the Shiseido eyelash curler, but well - I'm still always looking for something even better, haha... ;p
your hair looks very lovely! I want to cut my hair, but my boyfriend would get really mad if I do, so I simply trim it every once in a while. :)
love your hair! so pretty! :)
Hey Jess, I'm sorry I couldn't tell much difference with the treatment, but I think your hair look like it's in very good condition already.
But if you're interested, I use TSUBAKI white it's really really good I think it's the best drug store hair product ever, but I live in Australia can't get that every easily.
Otherwise if you want to spend a bit more you could try Kerastase they have an over night hair treatment in blue tube the one i used for my Strawberry hair sponge tutorial it's really good as well.
hope that helps :)
love your hair!! and thanks for posting pics of your lips with the lipstick! =) which one do you like more? shiny coral or sheer pink?? i can't decide AHH~ =P
reggi: I like shiny coral more than sheer pink! :) I mean sheer pink is pretty too, but I think that shiny coral is just the perfect nude coral color that I can not easily find. Hope, that helped your decision, hehe...
Shanghainese Dumpling: Oh, Kerastase! I used to use everything from Kerastase but my scalp got irritated by the products for some reason. :/
I LOVE IT!!! It's layered really nicely, and I love how the sides are! :D
I adore your haircut especially the cuteness of your side swept bangs! ^_~
I can't wait to see your review on the YSL! Curious to see what you picked <3
