R E V I E W : THE BODY SHOP Grapeseed Glossing Serum

Today, I'm going to do a product review of the The Body Shop Glossing Serum, since this is one of my favorite products currently, and I haven't ever talked about hair products yet. So here we go!

It is a serum for dull / frizzy hair, that is supposed to moisturise and smooth with grapeseed oil.

I have really dry hair, thus I always need products with a rich and nourishing texture. This serum really adds shine to my dull hair, and also tames the unruliness.

Unlike many other products like this, this serum doesn't only sit on top of your hair, or make the hair look or feel oily - like you haven't washed your hair for ages, while they are freshly washed.

Apply it to towel-dried or dry hair. I sweep about 5 drops on to my blow-dried hair with special attention to the dry ends.
Use more, if you have longer hair. But a little goes a long way.

I love this product. Great texture that does not only sit on top of your hair, but really does nourish the hair. Also like the convenient pump bottle.

This is my second bottle now, and I'll always repurchase it (except for I find something even better one day, hehe...). So, if you have dry and dull hair too, I highly recommend this to you.

Best if you want to: Get great shine with a glossing and hydrating serum that leaves your locks smooth, sleek and shiny and is easily washed out.

Best for: dull or frizzy hair

How it works:
  • Grapeseed oil, which is rich in essential fatty acids, helps to protect the hair shaft from moisture loss by coating it, and also smoothes the hair.
  • Community Trade sesame oil moisturizes and conditions hair, adding softness and shine.
  • A high-performance formula contains oils that do not cause build-up on the hair.

That's it, ladies. Thanks for reading, and hope you enjoyed!

Ins and Outs of Ohh... pretty!

Hi everyone!
Tine of
Beautyholics Anonymous wanted to know my current 5 Ins and Outs.

Uhmm, I thought about it, so here is what I'm into and not. I'm referring to non-beauty related things as well.

  • (1) Skincare [ all-time IN ]
I'm always sticking to my daily skincare routine (I did so from the very first) - it's essential for beautiful skin.

  • (2) Base makeup [ all-time IN ]
I think base makeup is very important, since it affects the whole look of your makeup. Just imagine wearing a poor foundation - do you think you can look fabulous, even when you have the prettiest lipstick or eyeshadow on? I don't think so.

  • (3) Eyeshadow Palettes
What can I say about this? Adorable makeup goodies!

  • (4) Pastels and Nudes
I love pastels and nudes! I think soft colours suit me most. This applies for clothes as well as for makeup.

( Source of Image: polyvore.com )

  • (5) Bandanas
I'm really into bandanas currently! Can make a simple outfit more interesting. My collection is small until now, but I want more!

  • (1) Too dark and pinkish foundation
Both of these don't make anyone look better, but rather the opposite.

  • (2) Fake Tan
I can't help. Even the best self tanning product can't convince me. Or maybe they just don't work for me.

  • (3) Matte Lipsticks
I think matte lipsticks make lips look dry and rough.

  • (4) Too long and too edged shaped nails
Uhmm... yes, I can't stand such nails. I think it looks weird. Especially in combination with fancy nail colors on.

  • (5) Plum and red eyeshadow
I envy everyone who can wear these colors. I can not make them work on my eyes. You agree that ending up as if you had a black eye definitely is not pretty, don't you?

Ok, that's it. I'm not going to tag anyone, but feel free to do this, if you like! I'd love to read your ins & outs.

Yay! Kreativ Blogger Award

Hello everyone! I hope, you all had a good weekend!

Today, I received my very first Blogger award by Cris of Diamond Enigma. Yay! Isn't that gorgeous?

For me, it's like a little dream come true, since I never thought, my blog would ever gain any notice or appreciation at all...

Thank you so much, Cris! I still can't find the proper words for expressing my happiness...

  • List 7 things that you love, and then pass the award on to 7 bloggers that you love!
  • Be sure to tag them and let them know that they have won.
  • You can copy the picture of the award and paste it on your sideboard letting the whole world know...you are Kreativ!

I love everything makeup and beauty related, love reading and talking about that topic, as well as sharing my thoughts and experiences with you. So yeah, that's why I started beauty blogging. And of course because of the inspiration of some fabulous beauty blogging beauties.

Just to name a few of them - Fuz of Fuzkittie, Mona of Make Me Blushhh, Nikki of Askmewhats, Aubrie by Fafinettex3, Jojoba of My Makeup Reviews, ... ohh, there are way too many!

At this point, many thanks to all my followers and readers for your support and feedback, and also to all beauty blogging beauties who never hesitate to give me useful tips and helping me out at all points. Blogging wouldn't be so awesome, if it wasn't you!

  • beauty and makeup (especially high-end cosmetics)
  • my blog
  • bags (especially Louis Vuitton)
  • shopping (typically girl)
  • nice food and Italian ice-cream (I'm such a foodie, hihi...)
  • cooking and baking (especially Austrian food)
  • everything cute and girlish (especially Sanrio stuff)
  • movies

(like Cris, I think it is a good idea to choose from blogs that are not so very well-known yet, since all the famous ones have surely already received tons of awards already, hihi...)

If you were not named, don't be angry with me, oki? It's so hard to decide only 7 blogs.
Have a nice day, ladies!

R E V I E W : BOBBI BROWN Skin Foundation SPF 15

Hi ladies, it's time to do a review again! Today's product is the BOBBI BROWN Skin Foundation SPF 15. My shade is Warm Ivory 1.

Usually, foundations that named Ivory contain pink undertones, but this one does not at all. As all Bobbi Brown foundations, they are more on the yellow side, which is good for me, since I need very yellow toned shades to cover my reddish parts (especially my cheeks are always so red, grrr...).

Here is the comparison. I only have the foundation on. No concealer, no powder. Oh, please don't pay attention to my puffy eyelid!

( click on the picture to enlarge )

Covers up my pores on my nose pretty well, hm? In the picture it looks as if it was a touch too dark for my complexion, but in real it doesn't look that dark. I think, it looks very natural, just like skin, doesn't it?

  • very lightweight texture that blends easily
  • evens out my skintone
  • covers pores quite well
  • feels comfortable on skin, no stickyness
  • kind of semi-luminous finish
  • does not cause irritation and break-outs (so far)

(there is only one single thing I can think of)
  • fades a little bit after several hours

I have never been a big fan of wearing fluid foundations as you might already know (I'm repeating again, hehe...), since they usually irritate my skin or feel too heavy. But I really like this one. Great color match, great texture, and feels great on skin. Definitely a great product!

I can recommend it to anyone who wanna have a lightweight and natural looking foundation that still evens out your skintone.
Yeah, that's it! Hope this was informative.
