R E V I E W : SISLEY Phyto Teint Eclat

When it comes to foundation, I'm usually very picky...

SISLEY Phyto Teint Eclat is one of the few fluid foundations that convinced me.

foundation provides you with a smooth and radiant complexion, with high comfort, because it feels so lightweight and with great lasting power.

I have very fair asian skin with some redness on the cheeks and the colour (Porcelain 0) was the perfect match!
Most other fair colour shades of other brands make me look pink, but this one evened out my skin tone perfectly.

Many fluid foundations also feel heavy or sticky! This one feels so lightweight as if you don't have makeup on. It provides good coverage, yet it still looks very natural.

I also found out that you'll achieve the best results when applying it with your fingers.

Although this foundation is formulated oil-free, it doesn't dry out skin, due to the botanical extracts as active ingredients.

What I don't like that much about this product is the pump (it's so hard to get the right amount out of it) and the design of the bottle. Even it's very pricey, I will repurchase it, because of the high quality and one bottle will go long way.

A fluid emulsion with an ultra-lightweight texture for a long-lasting, perfectly luminous and even complexion.

Phyto-Teint Eclat’s lightweight texture makes it easy to apply, creating a smooth, luminous finish.
Apply every morning to grace the skin with a silky-soft, powdery veil.
Natural plant extracts (Gardenia, Linden Blossom and Mallow), selected for their softening and emollient properties, provide extreme comfort.

Its oil-free, non-comedogenic texture makes is suitable for all skin types.

You will love:

  • A radiant complexion.
  • The silky-soft, natural-looking finish that fades blemishes and fine lines.
  • The moisturising action of a non-greasy texture that does not dry out skin.
  • Your complexion’s light, clean feel, even in hot and humid climates.
Phyto-Teint Eclat’s lightweight texture allows it to be easily and quickly smoothed across skin, making it very pleasant to use daily.

Beauty Tips
After your usual face care treatment, apply the foundation with the fingertips using gentle smoothing motions, from the centre of the face outwards. Blend lightly onto the throat and ears. Alternatively, for a more sophisticated look, apply with a sponge using light sweeping motions.

For an optimal result, set the foundation using the Transparent Loose Face Powder or the Phyto-Poudre Compacte. This will enhance its even, long lasting properties.
Active Ingredients:

  • Gardenia: softens
  • Woodmallow: moisturizes, softens
  • Linden: softens, soothes
Phyto Teint Eclat is available in 6 colours:
  • Porcelain 0
  • Ivory 1
  • Soft Beige 2
  • Natural 3

Does anywhere sell Porcelain 0 online? I can only see Ivory 1 available online.

Yes, that's true that most online shops selling Phyto Teint Eclat only have Ivory 1.

Maybe it's best to look for it directly at the Sisley counter?

Hi there,

I love your review and today I just bought a Phyto-Teint Perfect compact foundation. I checked the beauty tips on sisley website and it said use the Phyto-Teint Eclat and Phyto-Teint Perfect compact foundation together and this will enhance its even, long lasting properties. Have you tried the compact foundation before? Any advice on it ? :P

钦-Qin: No, I haven't tried any powder foundation from Sisley yet. But I think, if the compact foundation already gives you a good coverage, it might be too much when used with the Phyto-Teint Eclat (which already provides quite a good coverage).

Thanks for stopping by my blog! <3

The compact foundation cannot provide a good coverage. But it does give me very natural look. It smooths the skin very well. In summer I think it's just perfect but I might think about to add the phyto-teint eclat to my shopping list when it comes the autumn. :P And I'm quite crazy about the golden box of the sisley pressed powder ... need to save some money for that too :D
