R E V I E W : Caudalie Pulpe Vitaminée 1st Wrinkle Eye Cream

It's been quite a long time since my last product review, hm? Yeah, I think so, hehe...

But before, I go to the product review itself, I have to announce something!
Fuz asked me to let everyone know that her blog is temporarily disabled in order to sort some things out. She hopes, it will be back by Friday. (I hope so, Fuz!)

Now, I'm going to review the Caudalie 1st Wrinkle Eye Cream, that I've been using for about 2 weeks now every morning and evening.

This eye cream goes on very smooth. The texture is creamy, but not greasy. It applies smoothly and absorbs quite quickly. I have no problems with applying eye makeup right afterwards. I'm content with its' moisturizing benefits, since I feel it does smooth out dry lines. Oh, and what's also very important - it has not caused millia to me.

It claims to fight against dark under-eye circles, but unfortunately I can't tell much about that, cause I rarely have really dark circles. It is slightly scented - smells fresh and kinda fruity to me. A plus for the packaging. It comes in a little squeeze tube that I find to be very hygienic.

INGREDIENTS

THE VERDICT:
If you are looking for an eye cream mainly for moisturizing benefits to smooth out dry lines, I recommend this product to you. But if you are looking for something to fight against existing wrinkles, I think you won't be too happy with this. All in all, it's a good product!

CAUDALIE'S PRODUCT INFORMATION

I think, I'm going to switch product once I used this up. I feel like I need something that de-puffs my eye area, hehe... Any good recommendations? Ok, that's it. I hope this review helped.

F O T D : Summer Look with Guerlain 405 Perles Des Mers + Love Package from Singapore

Hi, it's me again with the FOTD I promised to do! Unfortunately, I don't have the prettiest face at all today - really small and puffy eyes, puffy face and patchy skin...

Nevertheless, I still want to show you my first look with the Guerlain Perles Des Mers palette, so please don't mind my bad face! I feel I look prettier in real life than in the photos (at least in the photos of this FOTD), haha... weird.

You see how puffy my eyelids are? In addition, my lashes don't want to show up either. Awk, I hate it! :/

At least, I really like the shape of my eyebrows today, haha... I prefer, when it's a bit more straight with a short angled wing (don't know, how to describe it, but I hope you get what I mean, hehe...). I think this shape suits me best. But I never manage to draw them exactly this way. So annoying!

Why do I look so arrogant here? :p I really love the Perles Des Mers palette. The texture, the colors, the fine shimmer - a dream!

On my lips it's Paul & Joe again. I wonder, why it shows up so intensive although the texture is a very sheer one. You like the pink Love Pu Pu Cheek on my cheeks? ;) I applied it as light handed as possible.

THE EYE
I absolutely adore the teal color in this palette. Many teal colors tend to look trashy on me, but not this one! It's so sophisticated. Come on lashes, don't be so unruly!

THE LIPS
Paul & Joe lipsticks feel mostiurizing and smoothing, yet very lightweight. The shine is medium I would say. Not as shiny as Dior Addict High Shine.

Now, I wanted to show you the cute goodies I received last week from a friend from Singapore. We get to know each other recently through Poupeegirl, and she promptly wanted to send me some goodies, after she found out that I was so much into Asian products, but not able to get my hands on them so easily here in Austria.

Look at all the cute stuff! She got me some product pamphlets, two Etude House sheet masks, Etude House skincare samples, a brand new Lunasol brush pouch (which she said was a freebie), Lunasol samples and a pack of cleansing tissues.

Aww... not only is it the cutest love package I have ever received, her handwriting is just as cute as well! Thank you so much, AhCapp!

That's it, hope you liked my FOTD despite my bad face day, hehe...!

Tagged by C. and WinWin : 10 Honest Things About Me

Happy Sunday everyone! I had day-off yesterday (and today as well, yay!), but I didn't manage to do a FOTD, since I was plagued by a bad migraine. I'm so sorry! I was really really looking forward to putting on makeup again using all my new stuff that I got recently. Argh, I hate migraine!

So, today I'm going to reveal 10 random things about me, hehe... Thank you C. and WinWin for tagging me! Uhmm... that's actually not that easy, haha. Don't really know, where to start, but anyways here we go!

1. I'm the eldest daughter. I have two sisters and one brother - he is the pet of the family, and oh so spoilt by the parents. Because he is a boy! I think, that's the case in many traditional Chiense families, hm?

2. My boyfriend and I, we know each other since we are babies, but became a couple not until I were 20 (he was 21 that time). Honestly, I already had a crush on him, when I was a child, haha... *turning pink*

3. I'm such a foodie! I love yummy food... and ice cream! That's why I can never hold out diets.

4.I used to have really impure skin when I was a teenager. My very first cosmetics that my dad got me was a clarifying mask by Lancome (I was 15 I think), and I didn't have any clue, how to use it and all, haha...

5. I don't have any pets, and I'm afraid of many animals... especially of insects and dogs. Must be a phobia. :/

6. I'm such a bludger when it comes to doing sports. Man, I really have to motivate myself - my body badly needs some sports!

7. I can't stand untidiness and dirt in the house - simply makes me feel so very uncomfortable.

8. I'm the shortest out of my two younger sisters (and brother of course - he is 183 cm I think). Yes, I'm only 164 cm. Sigh!

9. I have a weakness for cute cosmetic pouches, for cute stickers, for cute mugs, for cute notepads,... in short, for everything cute in general I think, haha...

10. I absolutely dislike bearish, insincere, arrogant and snobbish people who look down on others.

Puhh... that's it! I hope, you enjoyed reading. This time, I'm going to tag everyone who wants to do this.

Now, I'm going to put some makeup on, hehe... maybe I'll come up again with a FOTD today? I hope, it will be still bright enough, when I finished my face, cause it's a cloudy day over here. :[

R E V I E W : Beautymaker Love Pu Pu Cheek

I got my two lovely Love Pu Pu Cheek blushes last week, but totally forgot to show you, hehe... I got it from Beautyeshop (thanks, Jamilla!) Actually, I ordered four of them (two in pink and two in orange), because my sister also fell in love with them, when she saw the picture of it on the website. So, I got her both as well!

The packaging AND the name are soooo cute... Love Pu Pu Cheek - the cutest blush ever!

It comes in a little jar with a little ribbon puff in it. I prefer applying it with my MAC 165 brush.

Both colors look kinda scary in the jar, hm? They are both quite pigmented, but the soft and silky texture is very blendable, so you need not worry to end up with clown cheeks at all. Apply it with a light hand, and natural cheeks are ensured!

I can't wear warm and too orange colors on my cheeks, but this color is great. It doesn't look too orange on my fair skintone at all. I'm so glad, I got my hands on it. If you are also very fair like me, and looking for an orange blush that still looks natural, you must grab this! Very flattering for fair Asian skintones!

I haven't used the pink one yet, so I can't tell, how I like it. I hope, it doesn't accentuate my redness even more. Of course, I'll let you know, as soon as I have used it. Also be sure, I'll use them in some coming FOTDs! ;)

That's it, ladies. Have to have a catnap now! ZzzzzZz...

F O T D : Fuz' Bigger Eyes Look with Esprique Precious Dress On Shiny Eyes C-3

I promised to be a more diligent beauty blogger, so it's FOTD time again! I did this look on Friday, but didn't have the time to post it up earlier. Sorry!

I tried to replicate Fuz' Bigger Eyes look (watch Fuz' video tutorial on YouTube here!), since I got exact the same palette she used - Esprique Precious Dress On Shiny Eyes C-3. Actually, this is my 4th time doing this look, cause I really love the outcome of the look and the palette . The colors are so pretty and well combined.

The eye makeup looked much darker in real life than in the photos. Argh, I hate how the camera always washes out the colors! You notice the red mark on my neck? Got bitten by a mosquito! *itchy*

Having the Helena Rubinstein Lash Queen Waterproof mascara on! It's really good! Compared to my holy grail Shiseido Lasting Lift mascara, this one is not as lengthening, but does a great job on the volume and curling. Don't my lashes look fuller? Best volumizing mascara I have tried so far!

I like it more than Dior Black Out Waterproof and even more than Dior Iconic Extreme (which I previously praised). The Black Out WP tends to clump my lashes together, and I found out that the Iconic Extreme somehow slightly irritates my eyes. o_O

Actually, I wanted to blow you a kiss, but well... seems I failed. :x

Hiding the mosquito bite with a handkerchief, haha... :p Kept the cheeks very sheer with a pale baby pink blush. I think it goes nicely with Dior Addict Gloss Refelct 517 Clutch Pink.

On my face, I have Lunasol Skin Fusing Powder Foundation in OC 01. It's the lightest shade available, and it matches my skintone really well! Hm, I feel I look as pale as a ghost in the photos, haha... blame the lighting!

My eyes don't look that big I think, cause I simply don't have big eyes, haha... no matter how hard I try! Or I still have to improve the technique.

A close up on the eye : I'll try to extend the outer corners even more with the liner and the dark blue shadow. Maybe that's the clue to it! ö_ö

The lips : this gloss makes my lips look sooo smooth... love it!

Haul July 3rd : Guerlain, Helena Rubinstein, Chanel, Lancome...

I'm so bad! I say I must do a makeup diet for a long while over and over, but I haul over and over again instead of keeping my resolution! :[

Well, this haul was kinda like an encouragement for working full time the whole semester break of 3 months at the restaurant of the bf's parents! I will be 11 hours at work every day - and that's going to be super exhausting... Is this haul justified now, hehe...?! ;)

Now onto the goodies I got last Thursday!

- GUERLAIN Ombre Éclat 4 Shades Eyeshadow ~ 405 Perles Des Mers
- HELENA RUBINSTEIN Lash Queen Mascara Waterproof ~ 01 Rich Black
- CHANEL Lèvres Scintillantes Glossimer ~ 126 Silex
- LANCOME Le Khol Waterproof ~ Raisin Noir

I was lucky that I was able to get the Guerlain palette (it's from the Summer 2009 collection and LE), since it was already sold out at many places. This was the last one they had at the shop, where I got it. I wonder, why I didn't get it earlier? In my opinion, it's definitely a must-have palette out of all from the summer collections this year.

All four colors have golden shimmer to it - super pretty and unique. The texture is amazing! Super silky, smooth and easily blendable. The color payoff is sheer to medium. Really high quality!

The case of this palette is not like the usual ones that are glossy, but matte. I think it's very elegant and pretty though.

And of course, another mascara! I still wanna find something that beats my hg Shiseido Lasting Lift mascara, hehe... it promises majestic length & volume - 24-hour wear. What a glamorous golden tube! Indeed deserves the name, hehe...

126 Silex is a peachy orange color with golden shimmer to it. Although I can't wear many orange shades for usual, this one somehow seems to flatter me.

Off to go on with packing for leaving for hometown now! I promise to be a more diligent beauty blogger coming up with more detailed product reviews and FOTDs!

I hope, you enjoyed the product pics! Have a beautiful Sunday, everyone!
